MHCMS

The Mental Health Client Management System (MHCMS©) software is a comprehensive tool for the collection, storage and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative client information and test results. The database stores large amounts of information securely, ensuring strict confidentiality. The system's accessibility to users within a service can be programmed by management with various levels of access, ensuring further access security. The user can also insert hints, and the displayed labels and captions are alterable to allow the user to rename easily any field or tab according to the required terminology, which makes the use of MHCMS© a flexible and efficient data management system for very different services.

PRINCIPLE FEATURES

Selecting and filtering precise client information for specific analyses can be done from 242 fields, which can be filtered independently across 6 main tables:

• Client Details (95 fields)
• Health Assessment (46 fields)
• Health Review table (36 fields)
• Client Problems (17 fileds)
• Service Delivery (39 fields)
• Employment Details (9 fields)

Analyses can also be made directly through test scores (who benefited most on the SPA or other measures, with which therapist or treatment, etc) across multiple tables and 100s of fields. The detailed client indentification includes features such as:

• Social Security (Medicare) private funds, and other identification numbers
• referrer and referral details
• General Practitioner and therapist details

The comprehensive demographics information contains easily programmable dropdowns to allow entry and retrieval of culture-specific and other groups. The comprehensive mental health assessment and review sections includes:

• personal and mental health history
• diagnostic analysis with ICD 10 and DSM-IV codes
• treatment types, including coded psychotropic medications
• emergency care
• relapse-prevention plan

The ongoing management section permits detailed analysis of service delivery, including automatic calculation of treatment duration and the next action to be taken.

One of the exciting data analysis features of MHCMS© is its progammable templates for rapid summary of statistics. Each search parameter can be saved as a template for future analyses, allowing future statistics summaries of the same type to appear at the click of a button!
